Currently seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to join a fast-paced industrial mill in Franklin, VA. Schedule : Monday through Friday, 6:45am-4:00pm with overtime opportunity and minimal on-call.

Responsibilities :

• Organizes a team of mechanics and millwrights actively involved in various craft specialties, to include input on evaluations and weekly time approval.
• Diagnoses, delegates, instructs and carries out skilled activities involving the repair, installation, calibration, and maintenance of equipment and facilities. 
• Guarantees adherence to safety practices and principles, and maintains electrical equipment to the relevant Federal, State, and Local Codes.
• Creates and manages work/emergency work orders and prioritizes daily and preventative assignments.

Qualifications : 

• At least 2 years industrial mechanical experience. 
• Must be a team player.
• Previous leadership experience in an industrial setting is a plus.
