\n\t\n About the Role:
\nOur client is currently seeking three Extrusion Technicians to join their team—one for each shift. These are temp-to-hire opportunities with training provided for entry-level candidates. Experienced candidates may be eligible for a higher starting pay based on skills and background.
As an Extrusion Technician, you’ll support the operation, troubleshooting, and cleaning of manufacturing equipment in a commercial or medical production environment. This role involves hands-on work with extrusion machinery, quality assurance, documentation, and mentoring within a team-based setting.
\n\n \n Key Responsibilities: \n\nSet up, operate, and adjust extrusion manufacturing equipment.
\n\t\n\tPerform equipment troubleshooting and quality checks.
\n\t\n\tUse measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, vision systems).
\n\t\n\tMaintain accurate production documentation (GMP/ISO 13485).
\n\t\n\tMonitor raw material usage and product flow.
\n\t\n\tConduct equipment clean-ups and changeovers.
\n\t\n\tMaintain a clean and organized workspace.
\n\t\n\tAdhere to health, safety, and environmental policies.
\n\t\n\tTrain and support new or junior team members.
\n\t\nPrior extrusion experience (medical or industrial) is a plus.
\n\t\n\tExperience in complex medical extrusions (e.g., multi-lumen, bump tubing) is a bonus.
\n\t\n\tStrong troubleshooting and critical thinking abilities.
\n\t\n\tAbility to read and use precision measuring instruments.
\n\t\n\tBasic math skills, including metric system familiarity.
\n\t\n\tComfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
\n\t\n\tAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.
\n\t\n\tExcellent verbal and written communication.
\n\t\nHigh School Diploma or GED required; Technical High School or STEM-related Associate’s degree preferred.
\n\t\n\tMinimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience or equivalent skillset.
\n\t\n\tExperience in regulated manufacturing (ISO 9001/13485) preferred.
\n\t\n\t Background in melt extrusion is a plus.
