Welder Mechanic (Wausau, WI) Collaborate with Innovative 3Mers Around the World

The Impact You'll Make in this Role As a
Welder Mechanic, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
\n - Leading troubleshooting efforts
\n - Implementing modifications
\n - Determining root causes of equipment failures
\n - Supporting engineering and production
\n - Creating solutions to increase equipment reliability

Required: To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
\n - Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
\n - Possess a two (2) year Technical Degree in a maintenance field (completed and verified prior to start) OR a minimum of two (2) years of maintenance work experience
\n - Possess a current and valid Driver's License
\n - Ability to work overtime and ability to work rotating shifts (First and Second)
\n

Desired: Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
\n - Possess a two (2) year technical degree and five (5) years of industrial maintenance experience in a private, public, government, or military environment completed and verified prior to start.
\n - Welding certificate from an accredited institution
\n - Related experience in a heavy industrial environment
\n - Ability to work independently or with teams
\n - Strong written and oral communication skills
\n

Pay & Benefits: - The starting rate of pay for this position is $35.01. This range represents a good-faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences, and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
