Global Recruiters of Buckhead is conducting an executive search for a strategic and results-driven Vice President of Sales Supply Chain & Logistics on behalf of our client, a fast-growing, nationwide leader in the transportation and logistics industry.

This is a critical executive role for a proven sales leader focused on driving revenue growth by recruiting, developing, and retaining a high-performing national sales team. Reporting directly to the CEO and COO, you will have the autonomy to shape the future of the sales division and make a significant impact on the company's trajectory. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity with a competitive compensation package including a base salary and an aggressive commission structure.

The Role: A High-Impact Leadership Opportunity

As the Vice President of Sales, you will be the driving force behind the companys national sales strategy. You will lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing team of Account Managers and Business Development professionals across the country.

What Youll Do:

  • Lead and execute the companys national sales strategy to achieve aggressive growth targets.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and coach a team of sales professionals, implementing KPIs and a structure of accountability.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to set forecasts, define territory plans, and establish revenue goals.
  • Drive team performance through high-impact coaching, sales training, and hands-on mentoring.
  • Travel to key markets to support your team, meet with high-value clients, and represent the brand at industry events.
  • Participate directly in major client pitches and strategy sessions alongside the CEO and COO.

What Were Looking For: A Proven Sales Leader

We are seeking a hands-on, customer-focused leader with a strong executive presence and a proven ability to build and scale high-performing B2B sales teams.

  • 35+ years of sales leadership experience is required, preferably in the logistics, delivery, or transportation industry. (Strong leaders from other industries with experience managing national B2B sales teams will also be considered).
  • A proven track record of success in leading a national B2B sales team with measurable results in revenue growth.
  • Experience in sales operations, forecasting, and CRM systems (Zoho preferred).
  • A Bachelors degree in Business, Sales, or a related field is required.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to support your team and engage with clients.
