TWO POSITIONS AVAILABLE: FULL TIME POSITION IS MONDAY-FRIDAY, 10PM-6AMPART-TIME POSITION IS SATURDAY & SUNDAY, 10PM-6AMMUST BE MINIMUM AGE OF 21 YEARS$2.00 PER HOUR SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL IN ADDITION TO ADVERTISED RATE.Company Conformance Statements:In the performance of their respective tasks and duties all employees are expected to conform to the following:•Perform quality work within deadlines, with or without direct supervision.•Interact professionally with other employees, guests and suppliers.•Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.•Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.•Follow all rules, policies and safety guidelines for tasks/job.•Perform any additional tasks as required.Position purpose: To provide excellent customer service to our customers.Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks: (material responsibilities and essentials duties)Greet and acknowledge every guestDemonstrate solid product knowledgeMaintain an awareness of all product information, merchandise promotions, and advertisementsDemonstrate friendly and helpful service to all customers consistentlySuggest additional items to the customerAccurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and maintain proper cash and media accountabilities at POS registers, including scanning or inputting barcodesRing each item on the correct keyMinimize cash discrepancies so they do not exceed +/- $5.00 per dayThank all customers at the end of each transactionHandle difficult/challenging situations with a high level of professionalismMeet or exceed Chevron's customer service standardsAssist in floor moves, merchandising, and display maintenanceStock the floor as neededComplete housekeeping tasks as neededAdhere to all Company policies, procedures and practices including signing, pricing, and loss preventionThe responsibilities and duties are not limited to those mentioned above.Qualifications: (minimum educational and experience qualifications, required proficiencies with specialized knowledge, required certifications, etc.)Have basic math skillsAble to follow verbal and written instructionsAble to independently evaluate current conditions against standard and perform tasks necessary to bring areas to standard.Special Position Requirements: (Any hazard, risk, security issue or related special conditions which apply to the position, i.e. chemicals used, equipment used, cash handling, etc.)Cash handling is required. Cash discrepancies must not exceed +/- $5.00 per day.Hazardous Material Training, Propane Dispensing TrainingSome exposure to cleaning products, (bathroom and toilet cleansers, window cleaners, wax, wax stripper, graffiti remover, paint remover etc), paint, and other chemicals is required.Equipment used: Hot beverage equipment, CO2 tank replacementWork Requirements: [Actual physical work required, i.e. standing at cash register, loading items onto shelves, sitting, working at a computer, etc - include approximate amount of time per day N (Never), O (Occasionally up to 3 hrs per day), F(Frequently, 3 - 6 hrs per day), C (Constantly, 6 - 8+ hrs per day), based on 8 hour shift.)]Standing/walking (working at cash register) - CLifting up to 10 lbs - FDriving motorized vehicle (golf cart, forklift) - NRepetitive pushing/pulling (scrubbing, wiping, mopping, sweeping, scraping, hosing) - CClimbing, working from ladder or stepstool - OBending/stooping (merchandising, stocking etc) - CKneeling (cleaning toilets, floors, stocking, merchandising, etc) - OLifting over 10 lbs (stocking, merchandising, cleaning) - FReaching (stocking, merchandising, cleaning walls, windows, mirrors, etc) - OOverhead work (stocking, merchandising, cleaning walls, windows, changing light bulbs, etc.) - OOther tasks, including minor maintenance and/or repair - OReceiving Merchandise - OMerchandising/ Stocking items - CWorking at a computer - N(Tasks vary by day, not all tasks are performed every day)Preferences: [Preferred attributes for the position which are not absolutely required in the minimum qualifications (i.e., multi-lingual, college degree)]Bilingual: English and SpanishAble to read and write English Casa De Fruta
