Job Description

Our client is a professional, full-service land surveying company. Serving Northwest Oregon and Southwest Washington, they take pride in delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality surveying services.

With a strong network of civil engineering and land planning partners and an experienced team of licensed surveyors and field crews, our client is seeking a motivated Field Technician to join its team.

As a Field Technician, you will work alongside a team of professionals on various surveying projects, contributing to the completion of topographic surveys, boundary surveys, construction staking, and more. This role offers opportunities to develop your skills in the field while working on diverse and rewarding projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with field data collection for topographic, boundary, and construction staking surveys.
  • Operate surveying equipment, including total stations, GPS, levels and drones.
  • Work closely with senior staff to ensure accurate data collection and quality control.
  • Record detailed field notes and measurements.
  • Assist with setting up and maintaining survey equipment.
  • Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in land surveying or construction is preferred but not required.
  • Basic understanding of survey equipment and techniques.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
