Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Financial Accounting Analyst for a non-profit client in the Milwaukee area. The Financial Accounting Analyst will be responsible for processing and analyzing financial information and assisting with budgeting tasks for numerous ministries. This person will report directly to the Secretary Treasurer (CFO), so strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are required. This role will be onsite Monday-Friday from 8:00AM-4:00PM EST.
Main responsibilities include:
•Assist with the daily operations of the finance department
•Prepare regular and timely financial statements and statistical reports with analyses
•Prepare journal entries and reconcile the general ledger accounts monthly.
•Assist ministries in appraising their programs and activities regarding budget compliance, record keeping, etc.
•Support the finance department and auditing firm protocols by maintaining accurate records of all assets, liabilities, and financial transactions.
•Assist with development of functional budgets and monitoring actual results for all offices and ministries.
•Assist with preparation of the Sales and Use Tax returns.
•Conduct internal audits and prepare reports for leadership.
Compensation:
$60,000 to $70,000 per year annual salary.
