Job Description The Director, Sports Programming Finance will report to the VP Finance and work as part of the National Sports team, overseeing properties such as Sunday Night Football, NBA, PGA Tour, Premier League, The US Open, Ryder Cup, and Notre Dame Football. The role involves rights management, financial oversight, and collaboration with various internal teams. Programming Finance: Ownership of all contracts and rights management, including external communications and reconciliations with league and TV partners Work cross-functionally with finance teams to oversee sports rights financials Lead programming finance processes, including pacing updates, budget consolidation, and variance analysis Maintain forecasts of Sports Rights and obligations Act as finance partner to Programming and Scheduling teams, managing rights changes and scheduling updates Partner with Business Development on rights extensions and partnership deals, focusing on bid model P&L and performance analysis Collaborate with Marketing and Programming leadership to align initiatives and optimize budgets Coordinate with Controllership for rights accounting and contract treatments Qualifications Basic Requirements: BA/BS in finance, accounting, or related field At least 8 years of relevant finance/accounting experience, FP&A preferred Proficient in SAP/BW/BPC or similar software Advanced Excel skills in Windows environment Desired Characteristics: Ability to present financial info clearly to senior management Excellent time management and deadline skills Team player with positive attitude, able to collaborate across departments Position based in Stamford, CT, with a hybrid work model (minimum 3 days in-office) Additional Information Applicants may need to attend in-person interviews.
