This leader will oversee managed care contracting, negotiate hospital and physician managed care contract reimbursement rates, structure, language, and terms in line with organizational goals. The role involves advising senior management on contracting strategies based on market trends and organizational efforts, as well as creating, maintaining, and operationalizing managed care contracts, including managing interdepartmental processes and enforcement of third-party contract provisions. The leader will also set a positive leadership example and ensure project completion aligned with organizational objectives. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or a relevant field; Master’s degree and/or CPA preferred. Minimum of five (5) years of managed care contracting experience in a comparable healthcare system or large payor, with at least two (2) years in a management role. Preferred Qualifications Ability to build effective relationships with payors and internal/external stakeholders. Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a focus on high-quality service delivery. Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare delivery systems, contracting practices, and contract analysis. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in PC-based software, system instruction, and complex reporting. Negotiation skills and strategic planning capabilities. Strong written and oral communication skills, including contract drafting and correspondence.
