Job Description

Falcon Point , a 58-unit Vacation Ownership resort nestled on the banks of beautiful Nottingham Lake in Avon, CO, is looking for a skilled and hands-on Chief Engineer to join our leadership team. In this critical role, you’ll work alongside the General Manager to oversee daily operations, optimize building systems, and lead a dedicated maintenance team to excellence.

We’re seeking a proactive professional with a strong foundation in engineering principles, a sharp eye for efficiency, and at least four years of maintenance experience-ideally in a hospitality or residential setting. Duties Include :

• Lead all aspects of the Engineering Department, including hiring, training, scheduling, and team management, while promoting a safe, collaborative, and professional work environment.
• Oversee and perform maintenance and repairs for guest rooms, public areas, amenities, appliances, and mechanical systems, ensuring timely resolution and high standards.
• Manage preventative maintenance programs, seasonal checklists, and life safety systems to ensure property-wide functionality and compliance.
• Supervise pool and spa operations, including equipment performance, chemical levels, and regulatory logs.
• Communicate effectively with staff, owners, guests, and vendors; respond to service requests, manage work orders, and maintain accurate records of labor, inventory, and materials.
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensure snow removal as needed, and support inventory control, ordering, and general upkeep of the property.

Start Date : ASAP

Employment Status : Full Time & Year Round

Pay Rate : $75,000 to $82,000 annually, depending on experience

Schedule : Flexibility required: days, nights, weekends and holidays as needed

Minimum Requirements:

• Certified Pool Operator certification
• 4 or more years of engineering experience managing and maintaining a property
