Title: Clinical Project Manager – Remote (10–20% Travel)

Type: Contract – Full-Time

Duration: 12 Months (with potential for extension)

Location: Remote (10-20% travel to midwest)

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Project Manager to lead a series of high-impact clinical initiatives for a major healthcare organization. This is a client-facing role focused on projects such as Patient Observer , CareAware Connect , and Nursing Documentation Optimization . The role will work closely with internal PMO teams and external vendor stakeholders to drive project success.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the client-side PM for clinical systems projects, particularly those involving PowerChart and CareAware
  • Coordinate across internal and external teams to manage scope, timelines, and deliverables
  • Lead change management efforts and facilitate stakeholder alignment
  • Represent the client’s interests in all phases of the project lifecycle
  • Provide leadership in a unionized healthcare environment with a focus on diplomacy and clear communication

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in clinical healthcare IT environments
  • Strong knowledge of Cerner PowerChart and/or CareAware solutions
  • Experience working with or alongside vendor delivery teams
  • Ability to manage complex stakeholder environments with professionalism and tact
  • PMP certification is preferred, but not required
  • Change management experience highly valued
