Performs complex assembly assignments in support of GEHC product manufacturing. Focused on serving our people, patients, and customers. Personally accountable to the people around them, through learning, adapting, and overcoming obstacles. Constantly pursuing methods to eliminate waste and solve problems. Driven to improve the organization through a growth mindset and continuous learning. Passionate about producing imaging devices that save lives.

Assemble OEC 3D C-arm imaging devices by thoroughly following work instructions

Accurately record tool information within GE Systems

Maintain daily production output

Provide strong individual contributions to team goals

Interface with other departments to ensure orderly flow of product

Execute training plans

Identify and report defects in assigned area

Perform basic troubleshooting for root cause analysis and problem resolution

Utilize basic technical communications throughout the test process for production

Provide evaluation/constructive feedback in the development of internal and external engineering, manufacturing, or service documentation

Participate in LEAN process improvement activities to improve quality, process flow, and cycle or TAKT times

Comply with EHS regulations and policies and escalate concerns/suggestions to leadership

Engage in daily 5s activities

Participate in quality control inspections of sub-assemblies and final product

Perform other duties such as quality activities, training sessions, and employee activities

Required Qualifications

• Associates degree (or) High school diploma/equivalent-GED
• Electronics certification

Desired Characteristics

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Engineering or Technology related fields.
• 2 years technical experience
• Experience in medical manufacturing or other highly regulated industry preferred.
• Local candidates will be given preference.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills and ability to navigate online instructions.
• Black belt in Lean Six Sigma.
