Join Our Team as an Airport Customer Service Supervisor!

As an essential part of our airport operations, the Airport Customer Service Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless experience for passengers. We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to lead our customer service team and contribute to a positive work environment.

General Information

• Company: Unifi Aviation, LLC
• Location: Vineyard Haven, Massachusetts
• Base Pay Rate: $26.00 per hour
• Employment Type: Full Time
• Shift: A.M. and P.M. shifts available

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of customer service employees to ensure safe and effective operations.
• Monitor compliance with OSHA, TSA, DOT, USPS regulations, and Unifi policies to maintain a safe work environment.
• Manage shift schedules, including workstation assignments, training, breaks, vacations, and overtime.
• Enforce company policies and conduct investigations for employee relations issues.
• Conduct shift meetings and communicate any operational challenges to management.
• Assist with payroll administration and complete necessary shift paperwork.
• Engage with passengers during their arrival and check-in processes, including providing support for special needs passengers.
• Handle ticketing, boarding, baggage assistance, reservations, and problem resolution with professionalism and care.
• Perform additional related duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must be a local resident with a valid in-state driver's license.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and a 10-year background check.
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• Completion of SIDA training to obtain airport security identification is required.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience; prior supervisory experience is preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

• Outstanding customer service capabilities with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to follow procedures and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and implement creative solutions effectively.

Working Conditions:

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Work outdoors under varying weather conditions; exposure to noise and moving vehicles.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift/carry/push/pull items weighing up to 70 pounds regularly.
• Frequent walking, climbing, bending, and lifting required.
• Ability to work in cramped or high places and carry heavy items up and down jetway stairs.
